I grew increasingly frustrated with the difficulty of separating two connectors, so I went online and could not find anything suitable. Thankfully, there was a model I thought was “halfway there”. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with simply increasing the size and adding grippy geometry to the original model; I ended up making small tweaks almost everywhere.
I printed at 0.15 mm layer height with wet PETG. Depending on the current, PLA might soften too much or just melt
- The shroud provides grip for easier separation
