My wife wanted something to hold a set of Sharpie highlighters she uses frequently. This holds 12.
It prints in two parts: a base and the top rotating holder. The design uses the planetary gear linked below to allow it to spin freely.

No glue should be required. Friction fit was sufficient for my print, and it holds together well.
Supports are required when printing the top part, for the space where the gear goes. Infill of 10-15% should be sufficient.
