EDIT 12/2 - resized the holes and created variants. 5mm and 3mm were tested to fit well. Do not own 1.75mm diodes, but i made a version for those too. I am unsure of the lighting effectiveness of 1.75mm, so be sure to let me know! I also plan to make Chip LED versions at some point, but right now I do not own any.

I saw people online making Gamecube LED Mods for the front face by destructively ripping off grounding shields and such just to keep the LEDs in place.

I am not a fan of things like that, so with learning CAD Software I made a little LED diode holder for the Gamecube ports. Just open up the gamecube, take the ports off of it's protective front cover, slide the mount in, wire up some power through whatever means (the ports themselves, Blue retro ESP32s, etc.), and boom-- LED mod. You're on your own for the wiring part, just remember to use the right resistors and such for your LEDs as they are all different.

If you decide to drill in the player indicators, it's able to easily light that too. It is also designed to prevent light flooding to the other ports, so feel free to mix the colors up.

No need to remove the shielding or anything to keep it stable. I shook it around a bit harshly and the LED's and Mount stayed in. No screws, no tape, nothing needed. If you're really untrusting of your printer tolerances being too loose, use some glue to keep them in the holes.

I also attempted to give a little breathing room for RTC battery mods. I was unable to test any currently, but I measured one and sized the hole appropriately.

Basically, this should allow you to easily swap LEDS in and out without ripping apart the cube you bought.

I tested this with PLA basic from Bambu and PETG Rapid from Elegoo. Both work great.

For now, please do not sell the part for commercial purposes. Wanted it to be a thing that the modding community can easily acquire and use.  Print some for your friends, but don't charge em' for it. Thank you.

I plan to make different versions for different LEDs, but for now this is chill.
