Hi, I designed this drone body as I wanted to make a 3 inch drone in the future. I have tested this through FEA on both Fusion 360 and Ansys. This is designed for 1404 motors in mind, 3 inch propellors and a 20mm flight stack (such as a speedybee or others). It has a slot for a battery strap and can hold an analog camera. The video transmitter can go with the 20mm stach (mine is the speedybee TX800 and it can fit on top of the flight stack). The model weighs around 15 grams. Weight will increase / decrease 2g depending on type of filament used.
I haven't tested this as I don't own any 1404 motors. The holes for the flight stack are meant to have 3mm heat set inserts added into them. I would recomend printing it in eighther Glass/ carbon filled Nylon or ABS (or anything stronger).
Note: the camera is mounted at the front.
If you make this, I hope that you do enjoy and get back to be if there are any problems :)
