Enclosure holds the breadboard with posts through the screw holes between upper and lower parts clamped by M3 screws. Use 10mm long screws to just connect upper to lower and longer to when mounting.
Space provided above on both sides of the PCB. The lower part gives 2.5mm clearance under the PCB which should be enough for limited wiring but not components. The default flat upper section gives 10mm of clearance above the PCB.
Add cutouts in the upper part for run wires, expose headers or clear components as needed. Depending on usage you also want to punch ventilation slots into the upper section. Also including customized version I used for an application that will probably only be useful for inspiration. It's the only version I've actually printed and the cover image.
Update 2025-06-02: Fixed some dimensions and added bridges for lower part. Updated description and photos.
Compatibility:
Originally designed for the Treedix “Mode 4” but identical boards that should also be compatible.
- Sparkfun Solder-able Breadboard - Mini
- Gikfun GK1009
Not compatible with larger Mini solder-able breadboard with outer mounting holes or power headers and would have to be remixed.
- ElectroCookie Mini
- LedoNico Mini
- EPLZON 2" x 1.5"
