Reworked my original model printed from PetG.

I reworked the model for printing from TPU filament as a universal one piece with no visible joint.

If you don't own a TPU filament, it doesn't matter, print the model above, it performs the same function, only the joint is visible :-)

  • Printing settings of the new TPU model

0,2 mm Structural

Prusament TPU 95A

Perimeters: 8

Retraction:1,7

Perimeters: 60mm/s

Small perimeters_40mm/s

Two tolerances created.

I recommend printing a tolerance of 0.4 mm

This tolerance should have sufficient clearance. The diameter of the trapezoidal rod is 8mm, the diameter of the hole in the model with this tolerance is 8.8mm.

Use a tolerance of 0.5 if you have a problem with friction of the trapezoidal rod.

Speed

(This is how I printed Prusament TPU)

Optional - I use the skirt on small models to clean the nozzle when approaching the model

I recommend using the function in the new PrusaSlicer 2.9.4 - Complete individual objects.

Printing then strings less.

I created my own seam. I cut the model at the seam with a knife.

I  was solving a problem of how to easily make an invisible joint, after x test prints I was not satisfied with the repeatability on other printers and different TPUs, the joint sometimes connected and was always visible, in the end the simply ingenious solution won :-)

Cut one side of the model :-)

Installation is simple, see PHOTO

The model has stops that hold it in place. Some users have complained that you can't turn the printer upside down or blow air on it, this model won't fall out :-)

You must push the model into place over these stops

After pressing, an invisible joint is created at first glance.
