This mag loader was made because no one had made a simple mag loader which both stopped the mag from sliding out the bottom and stopped you from loading 31 rounds into a pmag.
The plunger should fit in perfectly with no extra room when exactly 30 rounds are in the loader. Rounds cannot be placed in backwards. Works with any 30 round or less straight ar-15 magazine.
