I used two EZ Ancor drywall screws to secure the bracket to the sheetrock without blocking behind. One thing I really like about the hook is that you have to press the car suspension down a little to catch the hooks and gravity does the rest. Having the suspension keep the car flush to the wall keeps it in place.
