When storing long material such as round stock, wooden trim, threaded rods they need to be locked in place to stay there. These magnet locks using standard 25 mm webbing band, it is screwed into the locks preferably using 2x8 mm plastic thread (PT) screws, but smaller wood screws or similar will do fine.
Fasten the plates either using double sided tape or screw them in place.
In the system there are captive endplates (fixed webbing), captive midplates, magnet endplates and webbing magnets, combine them to suit your need, leave a comment if you need another form factor.
You can choose to insert one, two or three magnets in each to suit your fastening force.
Gridfinity is fantastic for all your smaller stuff but it does not store long things well so this is a great complement.
If you don't need the stronger locking force of webbing and several magnets, check out the same system except using paracord that only have one magnet in each lock.

Print in PLA or PETG, 100% infill and add a pause so you can plonk in the magnets. Use 6x3 mm round magnets, buy the stronger ones (N52) and the locks will be plenty strong.
