My contribution: New handheld enclosure and integration (mounting for a 3" LED pod, internal wiring channels, switch + inline fuse placement, and screw-boss assembly).

Parts
Yellow Led Pods Lights 3" 40W LED spot cube, 12V/24V (pack of 2 — I used 1)
22mm latching push button switch, 5A, waterproof metal (flat head)
5A inline fuse
Milwaukee M12 (2.5Ah–5.0Ah)
7× M3 x 10mm screws
7× M3 thread inserts (4.0 x 6.7mm)
2× crimp connectors with contact tabs for the battery +/– (inserted into the M12 adapter cutouts)
Wiring
Battery + → 5A fuse → switch → light +
Battery – → light –
Assembly Notes
The M12 insert model I used already had two cutouts for contacts. I crimped two connectors with flat contacts leads and inserted them into those cutouts for the M12 battery +/– terminals.
Watertight sealing is optional. My housing can be sealed, but I didn’t need waterproofing for my usage.
