IKEA ALPSTUGA alternative housing with some nice to have features.
This alternative housing introduces wall mounted option, a battery option to keep it operational during outage or to use solar panel for power! It's your call! You are the Professional who puts the Pro into the name!
List of materials:
2x M3 bolts
1x Charging circuit, I used CN3065 solar charger.
1x 18650 holder and a battery
1x Slide switch SS12F15
You have to de-solder the USB-C power board and use it the way you can see in the video instructions. Alternatively you can use different USB-C PD compatible board but mind that this model is designed around this board. I wanted to use as much ALPSTUGA as possible.
The multi-color version of course looks the best but there is option for single color print as well. I removed the letter decals to create a 0.4 offset. This should create a decent effect to make the design visible.
