This is a simple and practical book riser designed to create a second row of books on a shelf â because hiding books behind other books is a crime.đ
The riser is modular and consists of:
-a center part (no side walls)
-a left wall
-a right wall
-an optional version with walls on both sides
Each part measures 190 mm wide, 260 mm deep and 170 mm high.
The usable surface for books is 129 mm deep.
The 190 mm width was chosen to fit perfectly into an IKEA BILLY shelf, which is how we use it at home.
Of course, it also works just as well in any other shelf with suitable dimensions.
Manga volumes, as shown in the pictures, fit perfectly.
Printed and tested on a Creality Hi with a 0.28 mm layer height.
The version with walls on both sides is included as a variant but has not been printed yet, simply because it wasnât needed.
No fancy design â just a functional solution that does exactly what itâs supposed to do.
