An easily adjustable (parameterized) 3D printed lockdown bar for real or virtual pinball cabinets. Options included with or without a center Fire button.
This was mostly designed for virtual pinball cabinets that are often custom sized compared to real pinball cabinets. This design should cover most vpin cabinets that use 24 to 42in monitors and can be printed with any printer with 200mm of vertical print capability.
The adjustment capabilities are available in Fusion360 - which is freely available for personal use. Adjust is done via User Parameters. The model assumed 3/4-in nominal (19mm actual typically) plywood construction, which is the most common. The available adjustments are as follows.
Cabinet_Outside_Width - the actual outside width of the cabinet at the lockdown bar location. The model takes into account the thickness of the bar and leaves 1mm clearance outside in side you have side trim.
Cabinet_angle - this is the angle the cabinet side panels make from the front panel to the back (see image below for details).
Bar_Height - this is the of the bar. Typical size is 70mm, but some people may need a bit wider to accommodate different cabinet designs.
The parameters can be adjusted within the realm of reasonableness. If the model breaks, close and reopen it and try different parameters.
The model is designed to be printed in 3 parts and aligned and held together with quantity 6 5mmx20mm steel pins (example link to item https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F1MB61B5?th=1)
If you don't want to mess with Fusion, you could theoretically use the STEP files and slice pieces out or extend the components as needed, but it'll be more work.

User Parameters can be accessed via the Modify drop down as shown below:
