Tiny Whoop Case Inserts with TPU Padding | 36 mm Gridfinity (65 mm Whoop)

What it is

Gridfinity box storage inserts for a 65 mm Tiny Whoop (Hummingbird V4).

⚠ The inserts are sized for 36 mm Gridfinity. They will not work with 42 mm (standard) Gridfinity.

The box

These were designed to go with a modified version of a Gridfinity box made by @PaulMostioru_1755420. I remixed the box to make it shorter so it better suits what I wanted to use it for.

• 3-3-7 65mm fpv box

• 3-1-7 Battery insert

• 1-4-7 charger box (the 1S charger I use is the ViFly Whoopstor 3)

• 65mm Whoop TPU Insert

• Lid TPU Insert

• TPU Test Cube

Print settings

Box parts:

• PLA

• 0.2 mm layer height

• 2 walls/perimeters

• 10% infill

TPU inserts:

• 95A TPU

• No walls/perimeters

• No top layers

• 7–15% gyroid infill

TPU can act differently from brand to brand and even between colors. Print the included TPU test cube at a few infill percentages to find the amount of cushioning you like.

Notes

I added command strips on the inside of the box to keep the inserts from sliding side to side.
