Here's A Simple Laser Beam Dump I Made! This One Is Fully 3D Printed, So No Need Of Extra Parts And Assembling! The 5W Blue Laser Shown In The Pictures Makes The Beam Dump Smoke. Its Partly Because I Used PETG For The Prototype And Its Only 75% Scale Of The Real Beam Dump.
It Is 14 cm Long, And 8 cm Wide. It Has A 6 cm Hole In The End For An Optional Addition Of A Aperture. You Are Very Welcome To Re-Scale It To Fit Your Needs!
I Recommend Using Black ABS Filament And 20-50% Infill So That It Is A Little More Heat Resistant. A Muti-Watt Laser Will Probably Melt Through It If It Is Shone Into It For Minutes At A Time. The .gcode File I Uploaded Is Set At 20% Infill With Hybrid Tree Supports Inside. You Can Use The .STL File If You Want To Change The Settings.
Thanks For Checking Out My Model!
