Hang it. Hold it.

Keep your broom within reach and clear up floor space. This wall-mounted gravity broom holder combines a compact honeycomb-inspired shape with a moving gripping wheel.

The wheel moves along the toothed track to grip the handle. Check the fit with your own broom or cleaning-tool handle before choosing a permanent mounting position.

Features

  • Wall-mounted storage for broom handles

  • Gravity-operated gripping mechanism

  • Two printed components: holder body and gripping wheel

  • Printable in PLA or PETG without supports

  • Optional rubber accessories for additional grip

Which files should I download?

  • Honeycomb Gravity Broom Holder.3mf — holder body.

  • Honeycomb Gravity Broom Holder Gear.3mf — moving gripping wheel.

Print both parts for one complete holder. Slice them using the profile for your own printer.

Print settings

  • Material: PLA or PETG

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm

  • Infill: 30%

  • Perimeters: 2

  • Supports: none

These are the settings used successfully for this model.

Assembly and mounting

  1. Print the body and gripping wheel.

  2. Fit the wheel into the toothed track and check that it can move freely.

  3. Test the mechanism with your intended handle.

  4. Mount the holder using fixings suitable for your wall and the model's mounting holes.

  5. Check that the holder and handle are secure before use.

Optional accessories — extra grip

Depending on the handle material and surface, rubber contact surfaces may help:

  • Two O-rings around the gripping wheel, as shown in the photo.

  • A suitable rubber band as an alternative, provided it fits securely and leaves the wheel free to move.

  • A thin rubber pad or rubber strip on the opposite contact surface if additional grip is needed.

These are optional additions, particularly for smooth handles such as aluminium. Choose the size and thickness to suit your handle, then check that the mechanism moves freely and holds securely. Specific O-ring and rubber-band dimensions are not provided.
