Elevate your daily carry with this versatile, 3D-printed ID badge holder. This model is a community-driven remix designed to combine professional utility with personal flair.

There are two attached files, one is intended more as an example file with the job title “supervisor”. and the other is blank, allowing you to add anything you may want to it!

The original author "Airplaneian" had a pretty good tip, since many pins have extra little bumps on the back, and they might sit a bit unevenly. A quick dab of hot glue is a great way to keep them flat and stop them from spinning. They're still nice and secure without it, but the glue just keeps everything looking extra neat!

Key Features:

  • Integrated Pin Display: Specially designed with pre-set holes to showcase your favorite enamel pins, lapel pins, or merit badges without damaging your clothing.

  • Customizable Nameplate: Features a dedicated blank space at the bottom, perfect for adding a name, job title, or department. You can easily emboss or engrave text using tools like TinkerCAD or OpenSCAD.

  • Durable Remix Design: This version includes reinforced edges and optimized tolerances for a secure, slide-in fit.

  • Universal Compatibility: Sized for standard CR80 (credit card size) ID badges and includes a sturdy top loop for lanyard or badge reel attachment.

Print Settings & Recommendations:

  • Material: For daily durability, we recommend PETG or ASA for heat resistance, though PLA works great for indoor office environments.

  • Layer Height: 0.16mm – 0.2mm for a smooth finish.

  • Infill: 15-20% is ideal for a lightweight yet robust build.

  • Supports: Designed to print support-free in most orientations to save material and post-processing time.
