Does the Trofast box rails feel too tight? try my design instea dwhich only supports them from the bottom!
This is a simple bottom support designed to stabilize a Trofast box used in a Tripp Trapp chair. In my setup, the Trofast drawer partially enters the footrest recesses of the Tripp Trapp, which can cause it to tilt forward or slide out unintentionally.
Instead of using clip-based slide systems, this part supports the box from underneath, preventing tipping while keeping installation simple and clean.
In my case, no additional clips were needed. This may be because I sanded off the paint on my chair, which slightly changed the internal dimensions and improved the fit. Your results may vary depending on finish thickness and tolerances.
The design is minimal, strong, and prints without supports.
