This is a simple and effective replacement diffuser for standard faucet aerators, designed and 3D‑printed by me to restore a smooth, controlled water flow when the original insert becomes clogged, damaged, or lost.
The part is designed to:
Improve the uniformity of the water stream
Reduce splashing
Fit inside the common metal aerator housing found on many kitchen and bathroom faucets
Use minimal material while maintaining rigidity
Reduce water consumption
Design Features
Outer diameter: Sized to fit inside a standard faucet aerator ring 18 [mm]
Thickness: Optimized for strength with a compact profile 4 [mm]
Micro‑hole pattern: Evenly distributed holes for smooth flow and light aeration 0.9 [mm] each hole
Recommended materials: PETG/ABS
🔧 Installation
Unscrew the metal aerator ring from your faucet.
Insert the 3D‑printed diffuser inside.
Place the rubber gasket above it.
Screw the assembly back onto the faucet.
Done! You’ll get a softer, more controlled stream with fewer splashes.
