🛠 Assembly & Installation Guide

Follow these simple steps to get your Hexagonal Tool Board up and running:

1. Printing the Components

• The Board: Print the hexagonal base using a rigid material like PLA or PETG. For best results, use at least 3 perimeters to ensure the screw holes are strong enough. Infill: 15-20%. No support.

• The Inserts: Print the mounts using TPU 96A. Ensure your retraction settings are tuned to avoid stringing inside the gripping area. Infill: 15%. No support.

2. Mounting the Board

You have two main options for securing the board to your workspace:

• Screw Mount: Use the 6 integrated mounting holes in the corners of the hexagon. Use standard wood screws (approx. 3.5mm diameter) to fix it to a wooden board or wall.

• Adhesive Mount: For smooth surfaces like metal cabinets or plastic, use high-quality double-sided mounting tape. Apply the tape to the flat back-ribs of the hexagonal structure.

3. Inserting the Flexible Mounts

• Choose the appropriate size (XS to XL) for your specific tool.

• Align the hexagonal base of the TPU insert with any empty slot on the board.

• Press firmly until the insert snaps into place. The friction between the rigid board and the TPU will keep it secure.

• Pro Tip: You can rotate the inserts in 60-degree increments to hold tools horizontally, vertically, or at an angle.

4. Organizing Your Tools

• XS Mounts: Perfect for sliding in a set of 3 small hex keys.

• S-XL Mounts: Simply push your tool into the flexible "claws." The TPU will expand and grip the item securely.

• Kids' Desk: Use the mounts to hold crayons, markers, or pens—the soft material is safe and easy for children to use.
