This remix adapts the original Logitech MEETUP Additional Microphone ceiling‑mount holder by KalleKnall to solve two practical installation issues: covering rough ceiling‑tile cutouts and making the upper ring easier to tighten securely.
Larger lower ring — The outside diameter is increased to 135 mm, giving better coverage around imperfect ceiling‑tile openings and producing a cleaner finished look.
Upper ring with grip tabs — Tabs were added to give installers a better grip while tightening the ring from above the tile. They also naturally indicate which side faces up during installation.
Both parts print cleanly without supports and fit the original hardware layout. Printed in black PLA, which complements the finish of the Logitech microphone and keeps the assembly visually consistent.
Installation
Mark the location on the ceiling tile where the microphone will be mounted.
Cut an ~100mm~ opening, just slightly larger than the inner diameter of the upper ring, with enough extra clearance for the lower ring’s threads to pass through the tile without catching.
Insert the lower ring from the underside of the tile so it sits flush against the bottom surface.
Thread the upper ring onto the lower ring from above the tile, using the added grip tabs to tighten the assembly securely.
Drop the microphone into the mounted ring so it seats properly in the opening.
