Tired of your USB ports breaking on your driver station? Yeah. Me too.
That's why I made a case specifically for protecting the usb ports. It does this by attaching a short usb extender to each port so they don't get damaged by repeated plugging or yanking.
It also protects the hub with a layer of tpu. (Survived drop test!)
Requires these additional parts:
2x (need 3, pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPPH29CR
1x (need 1, pack of 4) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5RGKP7S
Printing:
TPU Parts:
- 5% infill
Others (PETG or PLA work):
- roughly 20% infill
Supports on the "battery cover (tpu)" piece, and the two "inner" pieces (on the four triangle shaped cutouts on each).
Team name and number not included of course, I was too lazy to re-render without them. You can add your own label by taking the "outer top (tpu).step" file, importing it into onshape (or other) and adding text.
