Simple Definition: They are tiny stabilizing mounts specifically contoured to match the edge profile of Gridfinity Refined baseplates. They firmly grip the plates from their corners and edges and are permanently attached to the desk instead of the baseplate itself.
Real-Life Example: You can think of this like a protective smartphone case or a picture frame on a wall. The frame (the Retainers) stays firmly in place, but you can easily pop the main object (your Gridfinity Refined baseplate) out of the slot whenever you want to clean it or swap it out.
Core Components: 3D-printed "L" brackets specifically dimensioned for Refined grids, double-sided silicone tape for the bottom, and of course, your Gridfinity Refined baseplate.
