This 3D printed hydroponic netpot (Ø8 cm) is specifically designed for 4×4×4 cm rockwool cubes.

Unlike standard netpots, this design eliminates the need for clay pebbles or other growing media. The structure securely holds the rockwool cube in place while allowing roots to grow freely into the nutrient solution.

Key features:

  • optimized for 4×4×4 cm rockwool cubes

  • no clay pebbles required

  • open structure for unrestricted root growth

  • fits standard Ø8 cm openings/lids

  • lightweight yet strong design

Advantages over standard netpots:

  • cleaner setup (no loose media)

  • easier plant handling

  • faster transplanting

  • better root visibility and control

Use cases:

  • hydroponic systems (Kratky, DWC, NFT, hydroponic towers etc.)

  • home growing (herbs, chili, vegetables)

  • seedling / early growth stages

Printing notes:

  • recommended material: PETG

  • PLA is possible but less suitable for long-term water exposure

  • recommended infill: 20–30%

  • supports needed – print upside down (top part heading towards plate)
