I wanted to build a camera rig for my setup, and this is what I came up with. The goal was to create a highly modular system. I’m using a DJI Action 6 paired with a Rode VideoMic GO II and a deadcat.
The frame features an action camera mount on top, two cold shoe mounts on the bottom, and a standard 1/4"-20 thread for tripod mounting. It also includes multiple 6.4 mm holes, compatible with both M6 and 1/4"-20 UNC bolts.
The handle is available in left, right, or dual configurations and attaches using either an M6x25 mm bolt or a 1/4"-20, 1 Inch bolt and nut
There’s also a cable clip designed to keep things tidy, capable of holding two 4 mm cables (standard USB cable size).
Additionally, I designed a cold shoe mount that attaches to the 6.4 mm holes on the frame. It uses an M6x40 countersunk bolt and nut for secure mounting.
If you happen to have a VEEKTOMX Mini Power Bank, I’ve also included a custom holder designed specifically for it.
