Epic Viking warrior miniature designed for 3D printing.
This model was successfully test printed in FDM. Surface details remain clearly visible even at medium layer heights, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced makers.
For my test print, the model was tilted approximately 10° to reduce the amount of supports and improve overall print quality. This orientation helped minimize support contact areas while preserving surface details.
Supports were removed only after allowing the print to cool completely overnight. Once fully cooled, the supports detached easily and cleanly without damaging the model.
Printing recommendations:
Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm
Slight tilt (~10°) recommended for FDM printing
Tree supports or light supports under the axe and major overhangs
Allow the print to cool fully before removing supports for best results
Suitable for tabletop gaming, diorama scenes or display pieces.
