Use 3x 1.2mm wire by 20mm OD by 50mm compression springs ( same as that foxbat slide return ) for an automatic pump slide return.
Not tested on the original Ontos shroud but should work since the geometry is the same.

Note - adding some tape helps avoid the spring coils spiraling into each other when the barrel is removed for transport
