I thought the original design of these was great, but I didn't have any spare square nuts. I had a lot of hex nuts, so I redesigned this to use hex nuts instead.
Suzuki-style fine tuners that will work on any string instrument, although I had violin in mind when designing. As far as I can tell, they do not have a significant impact on sound quality.
