Mini Stickerless Helicopter Cube (30mm)

This is a compact, fully functional miniature Helicopter Cube puzzle, stickerless style. Print each face in it's final color for a clean finish with minimal post-processing and no stickers.

Printing Recommendations

• Recommend 0.2mm nozzle to preserve detail and fitment

• Print Core and Center pieces in PETG or ABS for extra toughness over PLA

Color options

• For Stickerless: Print 6 sets of face pieces each in a unique color

• For traditional aesthetic: Print a full puzzle in one color and plot or cut vinyl stickers (i.e. Oracal 651)

Assembly Notes

Corners:

• Each corner consists of three segments that, when glued together, make up one finished corner

• Apply a small amount of cyanoacrylate (super glue) to mating surfaces

• Place the assembled corner between the top and bottom halves of the alignment jig

• Apply light downward pressure through the part and fixture until adhesive fully cures

• Repeat for all 8 corners

Tensioning (optional but recommended):

• Print 12x “mini spring cone” in flexible TPU

• Place one spring cone under each screw when assembling the centers to the core

• These act as elastomer springs to improve turning feel and tension consistency. The puzzle will function without them, but you may have a trickier time achieving perfect turning tension without them.
