A strong scoop for metal detectorist use. Has a pot for heavy things and some riffles to help retain finds.

Prototype in PLA, just to make sure it was the wrong size and shape. It is far to weak to be of any use.

Test models in PA6-CF and PET-CF to see which is better. Both are difficult to print and to remove support from.

I used 12 walls, 10 top and bottom layers with 50% infill, so plenty of filament and time. It will need some support, how much depends on orientation.

It might even be strong enough to fend off a cranky salty. If you survive such an encounter, please comment.

In use the tip tends to break, one layer of any sort of filament is likely to be weak. The scoop is still usable, just a few millimetres shorter and not as sharp.
