UPDATE:  I have gotten some feedback that people want a plate rack included. I like the idea, if you are interested please mention it in the comments and if ya'll really want it, I'll get to work on it and include the files.

Printers under 17x17 inch at the resting(foot) points will set on it nicely.

4-25-26 - Added legs for Kobra 3 Max Setups

🔥 Key Features

  • Beautiful and functional

  • Standard print settings

  • No supports required – every part prints clean and easy

  • Stackable design – expand vertically as needed

  • Gridfinity compatible – 8 wide x 10 deep internal layout

  • Single drawer size – clean, consistent system (AI images may show variation—there is only one size)

  • Load-bearing structure – reinforced internals designed to support the printer and stacked units

  • Universal use – works great under other printers or shop setups

  • Modular strength options – extra pilot holes included to reinforce for heavier loads(you do not need a screw in every hole on the frame assy.

  • Clean assembly – all parts labeled directly inside the STLs for easy identification

🧩 What’s Included

  • 29 standard parts

  • Optional feet / load supports (x4)

  • 16 print plates total

  • Additionally included Full-size (non-split) STLs for large-format printers

  • Split versions for standard build volumes

🔧 Assembly

  • Assembles using M3 screws (link provided below)

  • Designed for straightforward, frustration-free assembly

  • Internal labeling makes part identification fast and intuitive

🧠 Design Notes

This system was designed from the ground up to:

  • Print reliably (no supports, minimal tuning headaches)

  • I used PLA on mine, default settings. PETG is also fine

  • Carry real weight (printer + stacked systems)

  • Stay clean visually while still being rugged

Load is transferred through reinforced internal side structures, this is what makes stacking viable.

📦 Gridfinity Integration

  • Internal footprint: 8 × 10 Gridfinity

  • Works with the full ecosystem of existing bins

💡 Considering adding a small starter set of bins—let me know if that would be helpful.

⚠ Important Notes

  • All drawers are the same size (some images may suggest otherwise)

  • Designed specifically around the Snapmaker U1 footprint, but compatible with other setups

  • For heavy-duty use, take advantage of the extra pilot holes to reinforce structure

💬 Support the Project

If you print one:

How do you thank a designer? Post a make.

Seeing your setups helps improve future designs and supports the mission behind N-Spire.

🚀 N-Spire Mission

Designs that inspire people to build, organize, and create.
Proceeds go toward getting more printers into the hands of the next generation.

Other Notes:  the "LOAD BLOCKS" are only needed for extra load bearing of the bottom most drawer.  They attach with 3m tape.  Basically they transfer the load straight under the reinforced corners.

Full size files are optional but not optimized for printing, the original designed allows for the split files to print ideally.
