I absolutely love Isaac's Decora-style Bilresa switch, but I didn't want to remove the existing light switches from my house, as occasionally being able to cut power to a light is handy for resetting smart devices. Plus, this avoids having to worry about basic materials like PLA/PETG not meeting the appropriate safety standards for installation in an electrical box with live wires.
After several design iterations, I finally settled on this mounting bracket. You'll need the PCB and Battery Box, Paddle Frame, and Toggle Paddle from Isaac's switch. The bracket uses the existing screws on a standard North American light plate to screw in over the existing light plate / switch. Once screwed in place, you simply slide the Decora-style switch assembly in from the top. There's a hole in the bottom to assist in removing the switch assembly if you need to change the batteries or access the light switch underneath.
I printed mine in PETG with organic tree supports. Unfortunately my slicer didn't add any support for the thin mid-unit backplate, and as a result I had some minor bridging issues at the bottom. They weren't anything that I couldn't solve with a small file, and it was somewhere that wouldn't be seen except during assembly, so I didn't bother trying to redesign to compensate for it.
