I use these laundry hampers. I like them. A lot.
After many years of use, the handles are starting to break.
This insert should prevent that from happening in the future by preventing force from concentrating in one place.
@ChmNrd and @WBisme_328482 and @MuMuBunnyLips_364324 have other solutions to this problem. I didn't like theirs because they all needed some sort of fastener or adhesive and / or flexible filaments.
My design works just by pushing it through the existing handle opening.
However, while their design may repair an already-broken hamper, mine will not -- it is only intended to prevent future damage.
