What it's for
On the iPhone 17, the camera module sticks out enough to make the phone wobble when laid flat on a desk — especially with a case that adds even more thickness. The result: you can't tap the screen comfortably without the phone rocking back and forth.
This small pad sits on the right side of the phone, at the same height as the camera module (which is on the left when viewed from the back), and compensates exactly for the extra thickness. The phone then rests perfectly flat and stable, ready to be used one-handed on your desk.
