I have a lot of transmission electron microscope samples, and they are cluttering my desk. This set of modular drawer inserts is designed to organize samples stored in large (20mL) scintillation vials, small (7mL) vials, and FIB foils stored in membrane boxes. I'll probably also make some for tweezers and gridboxes, but these are what I have for now.

I like fully printable modular drawers, but I didn't want to burn through a ton of time and filament, so I decided to customize a commercial product. These Arteza drawers are the only set I could find to fit the height of my vials. They are good quality, but the internal dividers are inexplicably spaced irregularly. I made some friction-fit side shields to make the interior a blank template. Then, I used vase-mode to quickly print my own dividers that can support my samples.

As it turns out, these drawers are made by Sysmax and are currently sold at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls. A very nice deal if you can find them on sale.
