Polymaker made a great dryer but way too loud. I tried to fit maximum size blower to original chassis, but extension is needed to have enough room for connectors. To make full conversion you need:

Step by step guide:

  1. print your parts - adapter and angle extension (I used 0.2 mm layer height and PETG-CF, 20% infill, tree supports on duct)

  2. change connector on blower fan (and add step-down DC-DC convertor for 12V fan if needed). Original fan is 24V!.

  3. disassemble Polydryer (4 screws on the bottom), remove intake duct (2 screws)

  4. remove heater element (2 screws)

  5. route brown thermocouple wire underneath of heater block

  6. mount heater back to its original position

  7. insert lower studs to lower part

  8. install lower part - pay attention to cable routing - all should be underneath and not in a way of any standoffs

  9. install duct

  10. install blower on lower studs

  11. install top stud on one side

  12. install top part and the last stud

  13. install angle extension bracket and lower part

  14. install PolyDryer  top cover

  15. install angle extension top part, secure with M5x16 (20) flat-head screw

Enjoy more silent and yet more powerful drying!
