I made tihis when I noticed my kiwi crate safe was missing it's key. This took a bit with some re-adjusting and having to make it from an image but the finished product should work unless you assembled the safe wrong.
(If all else fails, just bed a peice of wire in an L shape and push down the pins inside the lock while keeping pressure on the gears. then disassemble it and re-assemble it correctly.)
