Like the new Adventure Force Delta Pro's buffer tube spring extender, but prefer the Aeon Pro X? Here's your solution.
This is a remix combining GhostManta's Delta Pro buffer tube extension with the buffer tube adapter from BrooklynTony's APX DMR kit.
Is there a benefit to it? Wouldn't bother sharing if I didn't find one; Using Out of Darts' 1.9 Nexus Pro spring(the one rated for 224 FPS on the NPX), a small spacer, and a 30mm barrel, I was able to get stock NPX performance on a discernibly lighter prime, and a longer spacer got me 220-230 in about the same prime weight as a stock NPX. I do not have the spacer measurements on hand, unfortunately, I just threw thing together without measuring to see what I got.
The buffer tube IS a bit longer than ideal and a spring spacer WILL be required to make the spring work. While this kit designed using my incredibly lazy and totally not patent-pending "digital kitbashing" approach to modelling, I was just on the day of posting this able to confirm the overall package's utility and durability in a local blaster battle.
Recommended printer settings for PLA or PETG(I use PETG)
Layer height: .15-.2mm
4 walls, 25% infill
Supports: Yes
You will need the following parts:
2x M4x8 machine screws
The printed spring guide, knob, and pin from GhostManta's kit
YOU WILL EITHER NEED TO CUT A HOLE IN THE BACK OF THE CAP OF THE APX'S N-STRIKE MOUNTING ATTACHMENT OR FIND A SUITABLE WASHER/SPACER TO INSERT OR THE EXTENDER WILL NOT FIT CORRECTLY.
In concert with BrooklynTony's other APX mods(mainly the side prime bolt conversion), this extension makes the APX an INCREDIBLY viable and versatile primary.

Happy foam flinging!
