All the shoehorns I saw seemed boring and not tough enough. So after some sims and basic understanding of how physic works this beast was created. Some singularities while doing the FEA was not to avoid because of vertices that were fixed
Did I test it - yes:
Did I print it - yes:
In very good looking ABS-CF
Does it look cool - hell yeah:
Would I recommend a printed shoehorn - no.
The time and resources to print this is far higher then just buying a shoehorn made out of metal or other material
Anyway, a design like this was missing.
I printed this model in:
- ABS-CF from eSun
- 45% infill
- 3 perimeter
- rectilinear infill pattern
