LTTStore.com MCM Magnetic Cable Management has a versatile power bar key magnet. I tried to use VHB tape to mount it to things, but the uneven surface made the tape unreliable. This is a very simple model that gives a flat mounting surface and screws into the power bar key magnet. VHB tape sticks to it perfectly, and a glue/epoxy should work great with a bit of surface prep.
