I maintain enhanced machine, filament, and process profiles for Snapmaker Orca in the following GitHub repo:
https://github.com/jeremyreeder/snorca-profiles
Purposes
To improve print quality compared to factory-provided profiles.
To increase print efficiency in terms of time, material usage, and success-to-failure ratio.
To optimize temperature settings for a variety of good filament materials.
To provide a set of easily navigated process profiles, each consisting of my best known default print settings for a particular purpose.
Example
Included here is one simple example project, containing an appliqué from my disco-themed silverware tray and using snapshots of the following profiles:
machine: Snapmaker U1 - Reeder
filament: PolySonic PLA - Reeder
process: 0.10 Fine @Snapmaker U1 - Reeder
Scope
I aim to make these profiles applicable to modern filament-based printing in general, but for now I'm primarily targeting Polymaker filaments and the following machines:
Snapmaker U1
Prusa Core One
