Solitaire
A game of Solitaire for Blind People.
This game often comes as marbles on a plate. These marbles are difficult to handle for blind people.
My design uses pegs that are 8mm deep in their hole, so they don't move when blind people touch/sense them. The first design was with round pegs (cylinders), this is the second design which prevents peg movement when reading the Braille on top.
With Braille?
I added Braille on top of each peg and provide a solution inside the cover in Braille. The solution is the same as in this page on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peg_solitaire
Make sure to soften the Braille before handing it to blind people!
The box
The box, the lid, can definitely be improved. Please let me know if you have a better design.
For now, they use a rubber band to keep it closed. There are tiny tips on one side so they know up from down (so the pegs don't all tumble on the floor when opening the box).
FreeCAD Source
I made this in FreeCAD, the complete source file is provided. I used my Braille Python script to create the Braille (source here: https://codeberg.org/paulcobbaut/Python-FreeCAD-Braille )
