It's an encasement for a hydrophone. on the bottom is a 6mm hole for the cable, in the top a small edge to rest the piezo on.

I just used a Mic-cable, pulled it through the hole, used a cable-tie as a strain relief.
The case is than filled with quick-cement to add weight. ca 3mm unter the resting edge of the piezo is a small rim to mark the max fillig. it ensures that behind the piezo is some air to let t vibrate. Then super-glued the piezo disk in. Used some epoxy to seal the top.

On the side of the case is a small loop. There you can add additional weight or a stick or similar to turn it under water.
