This is a simple wind vane for the great Hooting Owl Wind Chime by christopher-auer.
The goal is to add a wind vane to the model to help position the hooting slot perpendicular to the wind direction for maximum hooting. YMMV.
This wind vane is designed for the smallest owl. It clips onto the suspension arms at the top of the owl and there is a pin that secures it in place.
I used this fishing swivel because I had it on hand, but any will probably do.
