A replacement ram sleeve for the MacDev Cyborg X.
I created this due to the sleeve from MacDev being skewed causing the concentricity of the ram to be impacted. This causes excessive drag as it moves forward. If severe enough this can even cause the bolt pin to ride against the body leading to premature wear.
I have included three models, stock, one closer to stock, and another with thinner walls. The thinner wall model is the one I utilize in my marker to ensure that it does not impact the concentricity of the ram.
I would strongly recommend printing this in ASA or at least PETG. These provide superior HDT and chemical resistance when compared to PLA.
WARNING: After printing you need to be absolutely certain the sleeve was printed correctly and is not skewed. This can damage your marker! Please read below for further details.
The quality can be verified by installing the sleeve and manually moving the ram forward. The sleeve should not create additional resistance and should reduce it if you have the original sleeve installed with this issue present. You should also remove the ram cap and visually confirm the concentricity of the ram when moved fully forward and back. The ram should remain centered in the housing when moved forward and back. If you notice the o-ring being compressed the sleeve is skewed and should be discarded.
