Overview
A set of simple, sturdy wall-mounting brackets specifically designed to secure small, lightweight mirrors to both standard vertical walls and sloped or angled (attic/knee) walls.
Standard mirror clips rely solely on gravity and only work on upright vertical surfaces. These mounts feature an overlapping retaining lip/cap design to physically capture the edge of the glass, preventing the mirror from sliding or swinging forward off a sloped wall or ceiling transition.
Technical Features & Dimensions
Detailed Dimensions: Full dimensional drawings and measurements are included in the uploaded photos so you can check fitment before printing.
CAD Files Included: Original SolidWorks source files (
.sldprt) are provided so you can easily modify or scale the geometry to fit different glass thicknesses.Dual Wall Compatibility: Suitable for 90° vertical walls as well as angled/sloped drywall installations.
Low Profile: Minimalist design holds the mirror snugly against the wall without obscuring the glass edge.
Countersunk Hardware Holes: Accepts standard drywall screws or wood screws for a flush finish that won't scratch the back or edge of the mirror.
Recommended Print Settings
Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS. PETG is recommended if installing in high-humidity areas like bathrooms.
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 30% to 50% (Gyroid or Rectilinear for strength around screw holes)
Perimeters/Wall Loops: 3 or 4 (essential for load-bearing screw retention)
Orientation: Print flat on its side to ensure layer lines run perpendicular to the pulling force for maximum strength.
Supports: None required.
Installation Tips
Measure your mirror thickness against the dimensional photo before printing to ensure a snug fit.
Use proper drywall anchors or mount directly into wall studs, especially on angled walls where tension pulls outward rather than just downward.
Place bottom clips to bear the weight, and side/top clips to lock the mirror securely in place.
