This is a simple model to print with 3 bottom layers for foam or plastic balls and the occasional real ball, but 5 bottom layers if you will constantly be hitting real balls. Chipping with the real balls is interesting, and I would recommend it because it doesn't help your game with a full swing, but I found that it does work well as a trainer for younger kids. The reason I made it was to first have a club in my room to hit foam or the plastic training balls and to make a budget bucket golf game.
Update 8/7: The righty version is published, and it has the same geometry as the left version.
