The medium destroyer was one of the playable ships in the now defunct game Dreadnought.

Medium Destroyer

Destroyers are offensive ships that balance weaponry, survivability and maneuverability. The medium destroyer, built by Jupiter Arms, is a highly versatile destroyer that can be fitted out for both long and close range combat. The primary armament of medium destroyers consists of 10 double barrelled turrets with high range and accuracy and decent damge output.

The loadout shown by this model is geared towards close-range fights. Its flak turrets and flashpoint torpedo salvo deal devastating damge at very short ranges, while its disruptor missile and drain pulse ensure that its opponents can't fight back effectively. And its jump drive allows it to quickly move in and out of range.

The Game Dreadnought

Dreadnought was basically like World of Warships, but in space. The game is no longer available as the servers were shut down in 2023.

The game featured a total of 15 ships, spread across 5 classes - corvettes, destroyers, dreadnoughts, artillery cruiser, and tactical cruiser. Each class came in 3 variants - light, medium, and heavy. Each of the 15 ships had its own fixed primary weaponry.

The ships were customizable. You could select the secondary weapons and four abilities. The abilities were called modules and belonged to one of four slots - primary, secondary, perimeter, and internal.

This model emulates this customization by having the weapons and modules be separate parts. (Except for the perimeter module, which would be way to small.) I might add more choices later.
