Updates
2026-08-05 - v4.2
Removed the headers over the top flipover hinge screwholes to match MrMakr's original design.
2026-08-05
Updated generate script to also generate magnet holes
Cleaned up the script to make it a little less complicated
2026-08-04 - v4.1
Changed flip over screw holes into teardrop holes.
This reduces the sag at the top of the screwhole, making the assembly cleaner.
Added a script to generate the models.
Pre-generated models now go up to Z=15
Hardware
For the handle:
2x M3x16 hex-head screws
For the hinges:
4x M3x30 hex-head screws
An M3 allen wrench
Theoretically any head will work, but you will want to screw these in at a right angle so the allen wrench + hex head is best.

Print Instructions
Choose a size in gridfinity units (X by Y by Z)
A 5x5 fits on a 220mm by 220mm print bed
You may be able to get bigger prints by rotating
Download the corresponding base and lid
Download the handle and nameplate matching your X measurement
Download the hinge matching your Z measurement
Download the uniform latch
Then print:
1 handle
1 nameplate
1 base
1 lid
You will likely want to download the pre-painted M3F file or paint the Gridfinity squares transparent
2 hinges
6 latches

Assembly
Put the handle into position and secure using the 16mm screws.
Use the pliers to remove the in-model supports on the front, left, and right latch tracks.
Slide the latches onto the tracks.
Place the lid on the base and secure with the latches.
Put the hinges into place and secure using the 30mm screws.
