ONTOS „RAVION“ Skin

Here is my take on a custom shell/skin for the ONTOS. I took inspiration from the Peacekeeper MK2 from COD, as well as from the other awesome Ontos reskins out there. I wanted to make the ONTOS a bit more customizable, so the RAVION comes with a few variations to choose from:

1. 2 types of shrouds

2. 3 types of stocks

3. 5 types of custom sideplates (like Picatinny or MLOK!!) to be glued, or screwed onto the shrouds

4. Either the OG ONTOS Trigger, or a Pivot Sear for a lighter more precise trigger pull (with many Trigger options)

   1. Hard Sear has a hard but short trigger pull. Very snappy but might be too hard for high spring tensions

   2. Standard Sear has a softer but longer trigger pull. Very linear yet precise feeling. Recommended!

5. Either a standard Mag Release, or a detent version, that lets you just pull out the mag without pressing a lever

   1. When using the detent mag release, you can simply yank the mag out. Still holds up pretty well. I recommend you try a few springs so it feels how you like it to feel :) If you use HUGE mags such as those 45 round ones, this option might not be suitable for you though.

In the Downloads you will find the different variations in the corresponding folders. For Bambu Users there’s a 3mf file ready to go :). 

The Hardware requirements differ a bit from the original. If you want to rock the Screwed on Sideplates, you will need an extra 12 M3x8 screws. Other than that, the blaster used the M3x12 and the M3 Nuts just as the original V2. BOM changes:

12x M3x8 (Optional. You can glue them or leave then away completely)

2x M3x20 (If you use the Pivot Sear)

38x M3x12 (2 less for the Slim Stock)

31x M3 Nuts

If you use the optional DI Prime Grip You will need a M5x30 Screw and M3 Nut.

Both the Pivot Sear and the Detent Mag Release need springs. So keep that in mind.

Be AWARE!

3D Printed Blasters can be dangerous! Don’t ever point them at people or anything other that lives. Be aware that those Blasters can be perceived as real firearms, so be smart and print them in vibrant colors and an orange tip if you take it outside!

CR Piece was missing a fillet, which caused a nut to easily fall out - fixed! Added the new pivot sear in two versions: hard and standard. Added new center pieces with a detent mag release. Added a new stock back part for the slim stock.
